Mental Saturation
Disclaimer: Mental Saturation is a personal journey through mental illness. Though it finishes on a more positive note, there are allusions to death, violence, and substance abuse.
Through poetry layered on self-portraits, this project is a personal narrative experiencing depression and moving towards survival and self-acceptance. Loosely based on the Kübler-Ross Model of Grief, there are five chapters separated by color; each color symbolizes a different aspect of mental illness. Though the road to acceptance features darkness, there are links to resources for the user throughout. This is a story to tell people they are not alone.
